help. Mission support.

was a really blessed trip. At the beginning of October 2013, Polish
doctors, Bozenka and Marek, along with their assistant, Gosia, served
for the fourth time in Moldova. They worked in three villages:
Peneszeszti, Grebleszti and Bukowec. They spent two days seeing patients
at the clinic in Straseni. Over a total of 8 days they helped over 500
people. They checked eyesight and hearing; everyone who needed received
glasses, some received hearing aids. This help was priceless, it was
something which most of those who benefitted could never have afforded
thanks to all of you who have responded to our still current appeal for
used glasses and hearing aids. Thank you for sending these to us!
Without you, there would be no smiles or tears of emotion … Many
people would not have experienced a new quality of life. There are
already over 2000 such people! That is how many men, women and children
have experienced a real improvement in their lives since June 2012.
We’ve given out even more pairs of glasses as some people received
both a pair for general use and a pair for reading. May the Lord receive
glory for this and to all of you who had any part of it – THANK
from the medical service which was provided, a lot of other mission work
took place. Every day involved discussions, planning and prayer meetings.
From morning to evening I was able to talk to our friends in Moldova
about our work. I invested a lot of time in preparing special projects:
educational, food, sport. Thanks to the generosity of many Christians
our ‘school dinners’ for children in Riecia is still running,
more people can benefit from special vocational studies and training,
namely Anfisa, Giena, Denis and Pavel; the boys in the
‘Metanoia’ football team can continue to train and hear the
Gospel. I was also able to support financially and materially the
director of ‘Liora’ Mission which opposes abortion. During
this mission trip I was also able to deliver several hundred books and
audio visual materials for learning English to three different churches
which are running English courses, in Anenii Noi, Tyraspol
(Naddniestrze) and Straszeni. This is also a ministry that we support.
also spent a lot of time working on our Mission House ‘Metanoia’.
Thanks to God’s grace and the open hearts of my brothers and
sisters, we managed to complete the kitchen in the upstairs part of the
house. With Andrzej we installed a new electric cooker, connected the
water, and hung the remaining kitchen cupboards. There is now just a gap
for a fridge, but I believe that this also will be filled J. The most
important thing is that the house is becoming more and more functional
and able to fulfill its calling of serving. Thank you so much to
everyone who, through prayer and financial or material support, has
contributed to the work on the house and its functioning. We still need
your and others’ help …!
is extremely difficult to describe in a few words all the meetings which
took place, the work carried out, the experiences we had ... It would be
much easier for you to come yourself and taste and be part of the
mission adventure. I invite you to join us on a trip to Moldova. If this
is God’s will we can go together to provide help, encouragement,
words of hope, we can bless Moldova – a small country that needs
our great hearts!
greetings to you and may you have great courage as you carry out
God’s will, as well as goodness and many blessings!
